Say Cheese Hatch Launches Yorkshire Cheddar

We’ve recently had the pleasure of launching the newest (and potentially, biggest!) addition to the Wensleydale Creamery’s delicious dairy portfolio. We all know and love Yorkshire Wensleydale – creamy, crumbly and full of flavour. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the Creamery decided to prove their cheese-making credentials even further and take on the most competitive market of all…thus introducing Yorkshire Cheddar!

We were fully aware we needed to make the launch as special as the product itself – Yorkshire Cheddar has been lovingly handcrafted, using local milk by the Wensleydale Creamery’s team of skilled and passionate cheese-makers, and is typically aged for up to 15 months for proper strength and character.

So, we rolled up our sleeves, threw on our aprons and brought more Yorkshire Cheddar into Leeds than you can shake a cocktail stick at. Filling Shear’s Yard with dairy farmers, cheesemakers and, if we say so ourselves, a beautifully decorated table setting fit for cheese loving Yorkshire media, Yorkshire Cheddar was launched.

Key media from Yorkshire and further afield learnt about and sampled the flavour profile of Yorkshire Cheddar, before sitting down to a FIVE COURSE Yorkshire Cheddar tasting menu devised by fabulous Yorkshire chef, Steph Moon.

It’s fair to say that the launch of Yorkshire Cheddar was a mighty success and just the start of exciting things to come for the new brand. Stay tuned for more cheesy goodness!
