The next Hatchling in our regular Meet The Team feature is probably the toughest of us all: Paula. She recently won a white collar boxing fight and now we’re all very scared of her. Love you Paula, you’re awesome. The best. There is no equal.

Name: Paula Kowalska

Job Role: Account Manager

Q. First things first – how do you like your eggs?

A. Poached, on a piece of wholemeal toast with avocado, with homemade honey-dijon mustard sauce. So millennial of me.

Q. If you could invite three people to a dinner party, who would it be and why?

A. Ivan Krastev, as I’ve always wanted to discuss the idea of democracy and politics in general with him; Paige Van Zant, because of her resilience, positive approach to life and overall inspiration she gives me in many aspects of life; Jack Whitehall, because he’s a laugh!

Q. What is the oddest possession you own?

A. A massive collection of polaroids and headshots of friends and family I carry around with me everywhere I go.

Q. What has been your career highlight while working at Hatch?

A. Missing meeting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by two minutes on the day of my birthday will definitely stay with me forever.

Q. What is your office nickname?

A. I don’t really have one, Kowalska would have to be the closest (because it makes me sound like a hard-ass New York beat cop)

Q. Time to choose: White Rose or Red Rose?

A. It would have to be a blend of both.

Q. If you could only ever listen to one song again, which would it be?

A. I’m not great with music, but “The Young and the Restless” by Tide Lines would be up there. I discovered them by chance and their music always makes me smile.

Q. What is your office snack of choice?

A. Anything I can get my hands on. I snack a lot

Q. Which brand would it be your dream to work with?

A. The UFC would be a really cool one to work with

Q. You’re on a sinking ship with all the Hatchlings, and you only have the power to save one. Who do you choose?

A. Lucy – girl lifts and we’d surely find wine!
