It’s been another busy month here at Hatch, with everyone working hard ahead of the festive season. November has been an exciting month as we celebrated Bonfire night, watched the Christmas light switch ons and enjoyed late-night shopping for gifts for our loved ones. This month, we also welcomed the return of much-loved Christmas adverts to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Here at Hatch HQ, the Christmas songs have started, despite much apprehension.

So, as we enter the final month of 2021, we thought we’d have a look at just some of our November highlights:

WE WON!! Incredible work from Hatch and the RLWC2021 team who came out victorious at the Prolific North Marketing Awards 2021 in the Best Use of Twitter in a Campaign Award for “Tweeting One Year to Go.” With the aim to raise awareness of the 2022 tournament and inspire action among both rugby league fans and audiences who were new to the sport, the team made use of every Twitter product and executed over a million impressions in a 72- hour period. This got amazing results, driving traffic to the ticketing website, and ultimately increasing ballot applications. Well done, guys!

At the beginning of the month, Hatch and the Ice Co. team held a fantastic one-off event at Covent Garden, London. Inspired by Disney’s Frozen the Musical, nine ice sculptures were displayed for everyone to see, and ice carving demonstrations took place along with the chance for the public to try it out too! Even the cast of Frozen the Musical couldn’t keep away and stopped by for photos with their sculptures. We can’t Let It Go – it was truly magical!

There have also been lots of campaigns elsewhere which Hatch have loved this month. Here’s some of our favorites…

The EasyJet advent calendar

As we welcomed the festive period, EasyJet introduced their 2021 Advent(ure) Calendar, and we absolutely love it! If you love to travel, this is the perfect advent calendar for you, as it features 12 drawers of special travel treats. Including four pairs of return flights, vouchers to spend and loads more. There’s only one thing that beats chocolate…and that’s a free holiday!

While away the hours Home Alone!

But, that’s not the only Christmas treat that we loved this month. Lego announced their most recent model based on Nineties classic, Home Alone. You can purchase the McCallister’s mansion fitted with all of Kevin’s tricks and traps, the perfect gift to recreate film favorites.

Battle of the ads

KEVINNNNN!!! We made room for more than one Kevin this Christmas as Aldi brought back much-loved Kevin the Carrot. Starring in yet another Aldi Christmas advert, Kevin the Carrot embarks on a journey with Ebanana Scrooge. The ad follows the story of A Christmas Carol by ‘Charles Chickens’ and features footballer, Marcus Rashford, who has teamed up with Aldi to donate over a million meals to families this Christmas.

There we have it, all our favorites from November. We’re sure there will be many more exciting things taking place next month in the final stretch to Christmas.

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals.
