Fledglings Year - Long Placement

Are you passionate about creative communications? Looking to gain experience in public relations, design, content, activation and social media? Want a collaborative and supportive culture in which to do it? You’re in the right place! Hatch is relaunching its paid Fledglings programme for 2023, and we’re in search of an intern for our full-time, year-long work experience placement. Our placement is unique in that the position is open to everyone, regardless of experience. All you need to have is a passion to learn and an interest in the industry. If you’re over the age of 16, and based in commuting distance of Hatch Leeds HQ, we want to hear from you!

Role & Responsibilities

Our intern will receive hands-on experience across our different areas of expertise, getting an insight into the world of PR, social media, experiential and content. You’ll be involved in client projects from day one and learn a host of skills – from liaising with the media to land that big hit in a national newspaper, to delivering show stopping PR activations.

Throughout your time at Hatch, you’ll have a dedicated line manager to support you and your development, with monthly catch ups to ensure you’re getting the most out of your time here and access to an ongoing training and development programme.

Better yet, you don’t need to have any existing experience, just ambition, passion and a willingness to learn.

Job Package:

– Salary: Circa £20k

Diversity comes in many forms, and it starts with our thinking. What works for one, may not for another. There is no one size fits all strategy.

Ensuring a return on investment is key. Proving a commercial return is the most important goal.
