It’s been a very busy few months here in Hatch land–we’ve had the pleasure of working with Leeds Trinity University as they built up to a very proud moment in their history, helping them formally install Gabby Logan as the University’s first Chancellor.
As Chancellor of the University, Gabby will be a key ambassador for them, as well as a role model for students, partners and stakeholders.
As well as celebrating Gabby Logan’s appointment as Chancellor, the occasion also celebrated the strong heritage of Yorkshire that Gabby and the University are proud to be a part of. As she made her entrance into the University Chapel, Gabby proudly wore a bespoke gown designed by Leeds-based graduate designer, Kate Duckworth, which was specially commissioned to celebrate Leeds’ long-standing textile and manufacturing heritage.
Hatch was on hand to secure media interviews from national, local, broadcast and trade media, as well as attend the event to make sure everything ran smoothly. Gabby’s family, friends, staff and students, along with representatives from the region, media and the University, joined in the celebrations.
BBC, ITV & Yorkshire Evening Post all came along for interviews with fantastic coverage secured in The Times, Telegraph, Independent and Express, as well as specialist educational and Catholic press.
All in all, a terrific event and tip of the mortar board to Gabby who will be a great Chancellor for the University!
